CONCERNS ABOUT WRITING RESEARCH PAPERS
How do you feel about writing research papers in university?
No matter what program you are enrolled in, you will have to write research papers, reports, and the like. Even if you were a good writer in high school, writing at university may be different from anything you've done before.
In the Diversities of Resilience Project, 30.28% of UOIT’s respondents and 38% of the full sample (MSVU, UOIT, & U Winnipeg) indicated that online tools or websites (e.g., [email protected]) contributed to their successful completion of courses or achievement of their educational goal.
In addition, 21.10% of UOIT's respondents and 16.37% of the full sample (MSVU, UOIT, & U Winnipeg) indicated that the academic support centre or a program (e.g., peer tutoring, subject area support, Student Learning Centre, a student success course, Adult Learner Services) contributed to their successful completion of courses or achievement of their educational goal.
